Museo O'Higginiano y de Bellas Artes de Talca
Public museum of history and fine arts
A National Cultural Heritage Service museum in the mansion where, according to tradition, Bernardo O'Higgins signed Chile's Declaration of Independence in 1818. It reopened in November 2021, after being closed since the 2010 earthquake, with history and fine arts collections.

Heritage landmark on the main square
St. Augustine Cathedral, seat of the Bishop of the Diocese of Talca. A modernist work by architect Ramón Venegas, built from 1938 and consecrated in 1954 on the site of the mother church destroyed by the 1928 earthquake. It was reinforced after the 2010 earthquake.

Community cultural and environmental organization
Non-profit community organization in the La Florida area, founded in 2003, devoted to culture, art, education and environmental care. It has a puppet theater company and eco-art programs.
