Colonial mansion declared a Historic Monument in 1986 and run by the Universidad Católica del Maule, with a museum of religious and folk art, gardens and cultural events such as the Huilquilemu Folk Festival.

Heritage landmark on the main square
St. Augustine Cathedral, seat of the Bishop of the Diocese of Talca. A modernist work by architect Ramón Venegas, built from 1938 and consecrated in 1954 on the site of the mother church destroyed by the 1928 earthquake. It was reinforced after the 2010 earthquake.

Non-profit community organization in the La Florida area, founded in 2003, devoted to culture, art, education and environmental care. It has a puppet theater company and eco-art programs.
